Global Ideas LLC is a construction company that has been active in Mongolia for the last 14 years. The company maintains a team of forty people, which is comprised of: Architects, Designers, Engineers (electricity, heating, structure), Quality controllers, Logistic specialists, Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, and additional support staff.
The company specialises in Design and Build projects, and has successfully designed, coordinated and executed projects for well known international and local companies. Our international clients include GDF Suez, Mongolia Growth Group, Schneider Electric, JCDecaux, AREVA, LIEBHERR, the French Embassy in Mongolia, or the Asia Foundation. Description: Global Ideas acted both as Lead Designer and Main Contractor for an international real estate firm on this very challenging project. The scope of the project included a comprehensive service from design to execution, and the stated goal was to turn an "old hospital building into a modern attractive shopping destination". Global Ideas organised the procurement of all materials, and the works of its own employees and subcontractors efficiently to complete the renovation phase of the project over a very tight schedule. The renovation work packages included electricity, plumbing, façade, walls, ventilation, heating, painting, ceiling, floors, windows, doors, and landscaping. Now the building stands as a proud new landmark: the project highlights a building that is part of the architectural heritage of Ulaanbaatar city while giving it a new life.

Description: Global Ideas was chosen by Schneider Electric for the fit-out of their new representative office in Mongolia. The project was executed in two stages: the office and the showroom. One particular challenge of the project was the fact that the showroom fit-out was carried out after the opening of the main office, which required Global Ideas to make special arrangements to schedule work outside of work hours and to prevent dust and other annoyances from disturbing the team working in the office space. The office of Schneider Electric has been showcased in many magazines (Interior Design, Vista, etc.) and TV programmes (Bloomberg, etc.).

Description: Mongolia sometimes gets really cold. Well, not sometimes, quite often actually. And sometimes it gets very very cold in winter… Australians even have a saying for that. They say that it is so cold that "The balls of the brass monkey freeze". But even in such cold days, people need a place to warm up, and enjoy a few drinks with their friends. This is what "Brass Monkey" is about. The bar is a mixed of sports, popular culture, and a temple to good food and drinks.

Description: Global Ideas acted both as Lead Designer and Main Contractor for an large Mongolian diversified group. The design part of the project included working with both French and Mongolian consultants to devise the best technical systems and to create the general arrangement that would maximise the efficiency of the farm. Then, Global Ideas handled the procurement of all materials and mobilised a team of fifty people on a very short schedule in order to complete the project successfully in December 2013. Now, the farm is producing milk in large quantities and the client company’s products can be seen on the shelves of most shops in Ulaanbaatar.

Description: Global Ideas was hired by GDF Suez to design and build their new office. The client company has offices all around the world and therefore we needed to follow strict guidelines in terms of image and functional and quality requirements. The design was carried out over the course of 6 weeks, and the execution was completed within 4 weeks. The project was managed smoothly from start to finish and the client could follow all works while being abroad due to excellent reporting practices from Global Ideas. Now, GDF Suez boasts one of the most interesting offices in town and the office is regularly praised by partners and visitors.

Description: Lilium Art Gallery & Cafe is a unique art gallery located on the ground floor of KH Apartments. Global Ideas was selected to create the design for the project, and later organise the fit-out of the space. The scope of work included building a mezzanine to create additional space, building the ceiling and fabricating all custom furniture. Description: Global Ideas redesigned the whole space to improve the company images. A high level of finishing also contributed to building a positive image for the client. Oriflame has developed a concept book to be used worldwide in all offices, including materials specifications and colours - which we strictly followed. Our scope of work including all floors, ceilings, walls, electrical and plumbing works, as well as custom furniture fabrication.

Scope of work: Architectural Design, Engineering, Project Management
Description: Global Ideas was selected by Tavan Bogd Group to develop a new touristic facility in Sergelen Sum, in Tuv Aimag. The project consists of several phases. The first phase will see the construction of twenty ger, and buildings for the reception, the staff accommodation, a conference hall. Extensive research was carried out in Mongolia and in Japan in order to build the best resort of that type in Mongolia. Eventually, the complex will also include a hotel and other facilities for activities such as athletes training and team building. The construction of the project will start in June 2015, with the view of completing the first stage by August 2015.

Description: The large corridor was considered as a weakness by the client, but Global Ideas turned it into usable space by extending rooms into it. IT Zone wanted to give its employee an office they would feel proud to work in, but also a comfortable space since programmers spend a lot of time in front of their computers. The office has been featured several times on national TV channels. IT Zone has repeatedly expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the work carried out.
